Iberia Expands Morocco Routes: 6 New Flights from Spain This Summer

The airline Iberia plans to launch six new routes from Spain to Morocco this summer.
Starting July 25, 2022, Iberia will serve Nador from three Spanish airports, reports Air Journal. It will thus operate from July 25 to September 1, two weekly flights from Alicante-Elche to the Moroccan city, without competition, two flights facing Air Arabia Maroc and Air Europa from July 25 to September 1 from Palma de Mallorca-Son Sant Joan, and two flights facing Air Arabia Maroc, Royal Air Maroc and Ryanair, from June 1 from Malaga to the same Moroccan city.
As of June 1 and for the first time since 2010, Iberia will provide four weekly rotations facing those of Air Arabia Maroc and Royal Air Maroc from Malaga to Casablanca-Mohammed V. It will connect Malaga to Tangier-Ibn Battouta airport at a rate of two weekly flights that will be operated from June 3 to September 2 in competition with Royal Air Maroc and Ryanair. Finally, the Spanish airline will operate from June 4 to September 3 two weekly flights facing only Ryanair, from Malaga to Tetouan-Saniat R’mel.
