Hamza Igamane on fire with Lille: his teammates already compare him to Ronaldo

This flattering comparison is not entirely devoid of meaning, according to his teammate Calvin Verdonk. The defender confirmed seeing similarities. The Lille coach, Bruno Genesio, also welcomed the integration of his new recruit, while remaining measured. "Hamza works well. He arrived late, there is a small adaptation time," he explained, praising the player’s attitude. "He’s someone who listens, who works, who makes a lot of effort. He’s started very well."

Genesio added that the management of Igamane’s playing time, sometimes as a substitute, was going well, stressing that the substitutes were performing well at Lille and that all players would have the opportunity to express themselves.
