Fundraiser Launched for Moroccan Double Amputee Seeking Prosthetic Legs

The CJF Sans Frontières has launched a fundraiser to help Moha, a Moroccan amputee of both legs. He needs two prostheses.
Moha, 48, who lives in Erfoud, has had both legs amputated, reports Actu.fr. "The consequence of undetected diabetes," explains Philippe Dugué, vice-president of the humanitarian section of the CJF (Cercle Jules Ferry) in Saint-Malo.
Present in Morocco for 11 years, the association from Saint-Malo has launched a fundraiser, via the Helloasso platform. In charge, Béatrice, a retired nurse who has become the CJF correspondent in Morocco, assisted by Marie-Odile from the association Le Sourire d’Houda and the members of the CJF Sans Frontières board. The money raised will be used to purchase two prostheses for Moha. According to the estimate of a Moroccan prosthetist, the cost of two prostheses amounts to 46,000 DH. "Moha in particular needs these prostheses to continue his activity. He collects, assesses and works on fossils in Morocco, a country rich in fossils and minerals," explains the association from Saint-Malo.
Three years ago already, Moha was extremely happy to have regained a certain independence thanks to a quad offered by private donors, the CJF and the association Le Sourire d’Houda.
