Fugitive Drug Lord from Paris Suburb Sentenced to 10 Years, Fined €2 Million

The 13th criminal chamber of the Bobigny court (Seine-Saint-Denis) sentenced in absentia to 10 years in prison the head of the drug dealing point in the Boute-en-Train housing project.
This sentence is accompanied by a two-thirds security period. El Mehdi Z. alias "Malsain" or "Le Gros" was also fined a colossal 2 million euros and banned from appearing in the Île-de-France region for five years, reports Le Parisien. On the run in Morocco following the murder of a rival in 2019, he is the subject of a new arrest warrant. Number 2 of the network after the hasty departure of "Malsain", Mojito, was sentenced to seven years in prison. He was also fined 200,000 euros and banned from appearing in the Île-de-France region. Mohamed E., a semi-wholesaler who resold the merchandise by the kilo, was sentenced to seven years in prison, half of which was security, and a fine of 1 million euros.
Presented as the "night manager" at this 24-hour drug dealing point, Saïd K. alias Saïdou was sentenced to six years in prison. Samy F., the other fugitive defendant, was sentenced to the same sentence. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Mohamed B., alias Chuki, was sentenced to five years in prison, four of which were suspended. "JP", a potential successor as manager of the drug dealing point, was sentenced to three years in prison, 18 months of which were suspended. As for the other defendants, they were sentenced to less than a year in prison.
According to the prosecutor, this "oven" was "the most accomplished version of the drug trafficking in the housing projects, and the most symptomatic of Seine-Saint-Denis". Its turnover was estimated at "5.9 million euros during the nine-month indictment period," it is specified.
