French Tourism Surges in Agadir: 24% Increase in Overnight Stays

The number of overnight stays by French tourists in Agadir has increased sharply during the first ten months of the year, according to data just published by the Regional Tourism Council (CRT) of Agadir-Souss-Massa.
Until the end of October last year, French tourists spent 910,249 nights in various classified hotels, residences and tourist clubs in Agadir, compared to 734,436 nights during the same period in 2017, an increase of 23.94%.
Next come German tourists with a total of 801,820 nights (+3.70%), then the British with 559,050 nights, compared to 490,188 tourist nights at the end of October 2017, an increase of 14.05%, the same source said.
In first place are Moroccan tourists who spent 953,271 nights, up 3.97% compared to last year.
