French Rapper Soprano’s Father Dies from COVID-19 in Comoros

The father of the famous French rapper of Comorian origin, Soprano, died on Sunday, May 3, 2020, from the effects of covid-19.
Soprano was going to his father’s bedside on Sunday when he learned the sad news. According to the Comoros media, Omar M’Roumbaba, the father of the Marseille rapper, died at the Samba Kouni hospital on the island of Grande Comore. He was initially treated at the El Maarouf hospital before being admitted to this facility with 14 intensive care beds to accommodate patients with covid-19.
The deceased showed symptoms of a covid-19 patient and was to be evacuated to Reunion Island on Sunday, where he would have been hospitalized at the CHU de Bellepierre. But fate decided otherwise. According to the Habari Za Komores website, this former sailor, who had emigrated to Marseille before returning to the Comoros, suffered from several chronic illnesses.
The singer Soprano is a regular in Morocco where he has given several concerts, including the Tolerance concert in Agadir.
