French Rapper Mister You Gets 1-Year Sentence for Promoting Drug Dealing on Snapchat

The Créteil court sentenced, on October 31, the Franco-Moroccan rapper, Mister You, to 1 year under electronic surveillance. He had promoted the largest drug dealing point in Val-de-Marne.
At the beginning of this year, Mister You had posted a video on his Snapchat account, in which he promoted the "Villejuif oven", the largest drug dealing point in the southern Paris region, reports Le Parisien.
At the Créteil court, the Franco-Moroccan rapper paid the price for his attitude. He was sentenced to one year under electronic surveillance. Recidivism was retained against Latifi Younès, alias Mister You.
He had been convicted in 2010 for a drug case. To his credit, an eleventh conviction, last Thursday. He is also ordered to pay a fine of 15,000 euros.
"I want to get rid of this image of a gangster," he promised. Already, he is proving it in his latest pieces. With "Road Safety", the rapper intends to raise awareness among the French on road accidents.
His speech on cannabis has also changed. "It’s harmful. It’s a drug that desocializes. With more disadvantages than advantages," he admits.
The president of the court who would like to count on his good faith has entrusted him with a mission. "I count on you to get the message across," she told him. In turn, Mister You promised her that he would keep his word.
