French Rapper Kaaris Addresses Controversy Over Alleged Insults to Moroccan Women

Wednesday 28 August 2019, by Bladi.net

His showcase had been canceled last week following the publication by his rival Booba of a video in which Kaaris insulted Moroccan women. In a message posted on his Instagram account, the French rapper addressed the Moroccans.

For Kaaris, it is a matter of setting the record straight in order to clear his honor, which his eternal rival Booba had tried to tarnish. On his Instagram account, the rapper posted a new video in which he is surrounded by Moroccans, as well as a new excerpt from the controversial song, in order to explain himself.

"I’ve shot music videos, I’ve spent family vacations, I’ve hung out everywhere in Sidi Kacem, Meknes at Rocma, I’ve made music videos and shows... I consider Morocco so close to Côte d’Ivoire. Moroccans are my brothers and fathers, Moroccan women are my sisters and mothers," the French rapper said, thus displaying his deep attachment to the Kingdom. He especially emphasized, with great enthusiasm: "Morocco is my home and I will come back. We are together. Long live Morocco! Long live the King!"

Kaaris denounces Booba’s attitude, who, according to him, had cut the first part of the excerpt from the controversial song dating back to 2010. However, on social networks, reactions are pouring in from all sides and the controversy is still being fueled, despite Kaaris’ reaction.
