French Politician’s Wife Repatriated from Morocco Amid Coronavirus Travel Restrictions

A Transavia flight chartered by the French State ensured, on Friday, March 20, the repatriation to France of the wife of the politician André Payraud. Andrée-Françoise had been blocked in Morocco since March 9, 2020 because of the coronavirus.
Andrée-Françoise is finally back in France. From Morocco, she had been informing her husband of the situation in which she and other French people found themselves. Flights were canceled and many French people were stuck in the kingdom.
"She was supposed to return today (EDITOR’S NOTE: Thursday, March 19); but a week ago, the Easyjet company told her that her flight was canceled. Since then, it has been impossible to get another ticket!", André Payraud told Le Dauphiné.
The steps taken by the politician were unproductive until Thursday, March 19. Fortunately, a flight finally repatriated Andrée-Françoise on Friday.
