French Police Monitor 19 Officers for Suspected Islamic Radicalization

The Radicalization Monitoring Group within the National Police Inspectorate (IGPN) is monitoring 19 police officers (police and administrative staff) from the Ministry of the Interior who are on a blacklist. They are suspected of Islamic radicalization.
19 civil servants (police officers and administrative staff) from the Ministry of the Interior are currently being handled by the Radicalization Monitoring Group within the national police, reports Le Parisien.
This measure was taken following the deadly attack on October 3, carried out against the Intelligence Directorate of the Paris Police Prefecture (DRPP). Mickaël Harpon, a 45-year-old administrative agent, was the perpetrator.
In 2015, the Radicalization Monitoring Group was monitoring about thirty agents across the national territory. No member of an intelligence service is currently being monitored, but in the past, some have lost their "Secret Defense" accreditation, following suspicions of proximity to radicalized individuals, the same source indicates.
There are verified and accurate reports, but there are also false ones. This is the case of a police officer serving in the Directorate of Order and Traffic at the Police Prefecture.
Since meeting a young Moroccan woman, he had allegedly radically changed his behavior to the point of refusing to greet women and work with them. However, it was a denunciation by a vengeful policewoman, as revealed by the IGPN investigation.
