French Police Arrest 11 Moroccan Minors in Connection with Burglary Spree

Law enforcement officers arrested eleven Moroccan minors aged 11 to 16 in Yvelines last weekend. They are allegedly involved in burglaries committed in Plaisir, Saint-Germain-en-Laye and Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse.
On Saturday, the gendarmes arrested two Moroccan minors in Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse. They were found in possession of 150 euros stolen from the cash drawers of a hairdresser and a tobacco shop. They were then brought before a juvenile judge in Versailles.
On Sunday, the anti-crime brigade police arrested three teenagers aged 11, 12 and 14, around 2 a.m., at the florist’s in front of the Plaisir Grignon train station, reports Le Parisien. Shortly afterwards, one of them kicked a police officer. The officer was injured in the hand. The firefighters took him to the private hospital in the Paris West, in Trappes.
In Saint-Germain-en-Laye, at the "Palais des Thés", the police were alerted by a surveillance company after an alarm was triggered. They arrived around 3:30 a.m. on Rue des Louviers. The finding: the alleged burglars had broken into the store front. As they were fleeing with the cash register, six minors aged 12 to 16 were arrested and taken to the police station.
