French Leaders Extend Greetings to Morocco’s King Mohammed VI on Throne Anniversary

On the occasion of the 21st anniversary of King Mohammed VI’s accession to the Throne, French and Franco-Moroccan personalities have, in video messages, addressed their good wishes to the sovereign and the Moroccan people.
Gabriel Attal, government spokesperson and former vice-president of the France-Morocco friendship group in the National Assembly, Hubert Védrine, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Christian Chambon, Senator and President of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Senate, hailed the ties of friendship that unite Morocco and France. The senator recalled that the Senate maintains "very intense" ties of friendship with the kingdom. "We will of course continue in the coming year," he affirmed.
"We still expect a lot (from Morocco, ed.) for the future of the Maghreb, Africa, the future of relations with Europe, the democratic future of the African continent and the future of all relations between civilizations so well embodied in the history of this great country," said Jacques Attali, writer, also president of the NGO Positive Planet.
For her part, the Franco-Moroccan Bouchra Bayed, president of "Maroc entrepreneurs" reaffirmed the determination of her association to "serve the country and participate in its influence abroad, particularly in France". As for the Franco-Moroccan Mustapha Laabid, he expressed his friendship and deep respect to King Mohammed VI and his people.
