French First Lady Meets Moroccan Museum Chief to Discuss Delacroix Exhibition

The President of the National Foundation of Museums (FNM) was received, on Tuesday at the Élysée, for a working lunch with Brigitte Macron. The discussions with Mehdi Qotbi focused on the Eugène Delacroix exhibition scheduled to be held in April 2021 in Morocco.
During the working session, the two personalities exchanged on the follow-up of this exhibition carried out with the help of the Louvre Museum and the Eugène Delacroix National Museum in Paris. The exhibition could have been held in April 2020, but it has been postponed to April 5, 2021 at the Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMVI) in Rabat due to the Covid-19 pandemic, reports the MAP.
This visit by the President of the FNM allowed Brigitte Macron to know the level of preparations, as well as the list of works that will be exhibited. She intends to contribute to the success of this exhibition, the first of its kind, in the Arab World and in Africa, specifies the same source.
