French Ferry to Evacuate Citizens from Morocco Amid Travel Restrictions

Subject to the authorization of the Moroccan authorities, the French embassy in Morocco announces that the shipping company La Méridionale will operate a link between the port of Tanger Med and Marseille on April 10.
The departure will be on April 10 in the late afternoon (the exact schedule will be specified later) and the arrival in Marseille is scheduled for the morning of April 12, the French embassy in Morocco specifies on its Twitter account, adding that travelers remain naturally subject to the entry conditions on the territory currently in force, available on the website of the Ministry of the Interior. The presentation of a PCR test, carried out less than 72 hours before departure and concluding the absence of Covid-19 contamination, remains mandatory for boarding and access to French territory.
The embassy also recalls that special flights between Morocco and France continue from several cities in the kingdom, on authorization, on a case-by-case basis and often on very short notice, from the Moroccan authorities. It recommends that people wishing to return to France make their reservations as soon as possible due to the lack of visibility on the flight program.
For all those wishing to take this boat, the French embassy in Morocco recommends booking via this form.
