French Expats in Morocco Show Surprising Support for Le Pen’s National Rally in EU Elections

The European elections on Sunday, May 25, 2019 saw, in particular, the French express themselves at the polls. Some, among those living in Morocco, opted for the list led by the political party headed by Marine Le Pen.
5% is the average that the "Take the Power" list of Marine Le Pen’s National Rally collected in Morocco during the European elections on Sunday, May 25, 2019.
Indeed, the vote counts, after the closing of the polling stations, saw the French living in Casablanca opt for this list within a margin of 5.61%, which is practically the same as the 5.72% of those in Rabat.
In Agadir, however, Marine Le Pen strikes harder with 20.05% and claims around 12.92% with the French in Marrakech. In Fez, for example, the trend drops drastically with only 37 people seeing affinities with "Take the Power".
