"This IPO project is a major turning point, which opens a new chapter in the group’s development and allows us to accelerate our deployment in France and internationally to make Colis Privé Group a champion of e-commerce logistics in Europe," they said in a press release.

The newspaper reports that with 233.8 million euros in revenue in 2020, the group says it delivered 64 million parcels last year, relying on around 3,100 delivery people. The operation will be subject to "favorable market conditions," it is specified.

The same source states that in France, Colis Privé has a logistics network consisting of "4 mechanized national platforms and 101 agencies distributed throughout the territory," and covered 90% of the French population in February 2021.

With 174 e-commerce players, including Amazon, Alibaba or Veepee, "as well as with companies (Nespresso, H&M, Uniqlo) and logistics specialists like DHL," it hopes for international development "as early as the second half of 2021 with the launch of its activities in Belgium, Luxembourg and Morocco."
