French Comedian Jean-Marie Bigard Accuses Gad Elmaleh of Plagiarism

The criticism against the works of the Franco-Moroccan comedian, Gad Elmaleh, never ends. After the accusations of Marseille comedian Kamel Bennafla, George Carlin’s daughter Kelly Carlin, and journalists from the weekly magazine Society, it is now the turn of comedian Jean-Marie Bigard to denounce Elmaleh.
Gad Elmaleh is not yet at the end of his suffering. On the set of the radio show "Grand oral des Grandes gueules" on RMC, Jean-Marie Bigard did not hesitate to overwhelm the eternal accused of plagiarism.
The host accused the Franco-Moroccan of "shoplifting": "It would be the shame of my life to have taken a joke from a foreign comedian, and then to do it word for word, with the same gestures, the same intonation. It’s shoplifting," hammered the comedian Bigard, who nevertheless does not fail to throw flowers at Elmaleh by qualifying him as "the funniest guy of his generation". For Jean-Marie Bigard, the comedian Elmaleh is very talented and "knows absolutely how to do everything".
As for the person concerned, who has come out of his silence, without however convincing, he absolutely maintains that those who accuse him do not know how to distinguish between inspiration and plagiarism. "Being inspired by someone is much deeper than that. My job as a comedian is not just a list of jokes. I offer a look, a vision of the world," he argues.
