French Camper Van Tourists Finally Leave Morocco After 45-Day Lockdown

Two French camper van tourists, blocked in Morocco for a month and a half, found an opportunity to finally return home. Even if they have to spend a good part of time on the boat before reaching their homes, the two French tourists are determined to face everything.
Blocked in Morocco for more than 45 days, Guy and Lydie Berthonneau, from Sainte-Radegonde are happy to have found an opportunity to return, reports Ouest France
After long searching for a boat to leave Morocco, they finally hit the jackpot, thanks to a British camper van friend. He told them that Britain had chartered a boat bound for Spain. After contacting the British embassy, which found them seats, they boarded with their friends Michel and Dominique, from Saint-Généroux, this Thursday, May 21, at noon.
Once on board the ship, after obtaining their tickets in 30 minutes, they could not hold back their anger. For the two retirees, the French embassy was unable to give them an answer. "I find this unacceptable. The French authorities are far from being up to par. It’s deplorable," he lamented.
