French Authorities Target Algerian Influencers Over Alleged Extremist Content

A wave of arrests has recently hit the community of Algerian influencers, following online statements deemed unacceptable. Three individuals are now in the sights of the French justice system.
It all started with the arrest of "Zazou Youcef", an influencer already convicted in December last year by the Brest criminal court to 12 months in prison for his participation in the 2023 riots. This time, the accusations are even more serious: he is accused of having called for committing attacks on French soil.
In the wake of this, a second influencer, "Imadtintin", was arrested for having expressed his support for "Zazou Youcef" and himself made explicit threats.
