France Recognizes Sinopharm COVID-19 Vaccine for Health Pass, Easing Travel for Expatriates

The French government has just published in the official journal a new decree relating to the obtaining of the French health pass for people vaccinated against Covid-19. According to this decree, the Sinopharm vaccine taken by many expatriates and which had been rejected by France, is finally recognized.
It is a relief for French residents abroad but also for Moroccans wishing to go to France and who have received the two doses of the Sinopharm vaccine. They will no longer have to worry since the Chinese vaccine is finally recognized by the French authorities.
The new decree amending the first one was published by Prime Minister Jean Castex, and stipulates that people vaccinated against Covid-19 with the Chinese vaccines Sinovac or Sinopharm can benefit from the French health pass, provided they receive an additional dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines.
There is therefore no longer any reason why Moroccans or French vaccinated in Morocco cannot go to France. After receiving a third dose of the RNA vaccine, they will have to wait 7 days before being able to obtain the French health pass. These are the conditions set by the decree published this Thursday in the official journal.
