France Praises Morocco’s Efforts in Repatriating Thousands Amid Travel Disruptions

Like other African countries in the Maghreb or other continents, Morocco has facilitated the return of French tourists, blocked at certain airports, to their country. For this, the kingdom has been congratulated by the French Secretary of State for Transport, Jean-Baptiste Djebbari.
According to Baptiste Djebbari, between 10,000 and 15,000 people are repatriated daily. The French Secretary of State for Transport did not fail to salute the efforts of the airlines involved in this air bridge, particularly Air France.
Furthermore, he praised the efforts of certain countries that have made this objective possible, mentioning the "remarkable work" of Morocco, from where more than 20,000 people have been repatriated with Algeria or the Dominican Republic.
As for the tourists still stranded in certain countries, the Secretary of State promises that they will be repatriated in the next few days, after having managed to repatriate nearly 90,000 French people. "In the next three or four days, we should reach the end of the 130,000 French nationals who were outside our borders," the Secretary of State recalled.
Furthermore, he praised the efforts of certain countries that have made this objective possible, mentioning the "remarkable work of Morocco"; from where more than 20,000 people have been repatriated with Algeria or the Dominican Republic. However, he noted the difficulty encountered by some countries such as the Philippines, with French people "scattered" across several islands that need to be gathered before they can be brought back to France on flights chartered by the government.
