France Organizes Ferry Repatriation for Citizens Stranded in Morocco Due to COVID-19

Two special maritime crossings are scheduled from the port of Tanger Med to Marseille, to repatriate the French stranded in Morocco due to the closure of borders for the Covid-19 pandemic, the French Embassy in Rabat announced.
The departures, subject to the agreement of the Moroccan authorities, will take place at the port of Tanger-Med, in the late afternoon of Saturday, June 5 and Saturday, June 12, on a ferry chartered by the company La Méridionale.
Passengers are allowed to board their vehicle, but subject to registration per vehicle and per person.
However, in the event of exit from Moroccan territory and until further notice, given the suspension of links to Morocco, people residing in Morocco will no longer be able to return, the Embassy warns, also recalling that special flights and crossings operate only in the Morocco-France direction.
A form has been launched to survey the wishes of people wishing to use these special links.
