Faced with the global health crisis, France is considering the relocation of its industries. This could have repercussions on Morocco.
The Caisse des Dépôts, the financial arm of the French state, intends to contribute to the financing of the relocation of companies, said the head of the institution. He calls for thinking in terms of "national independence" on a new industrial and public organization.
Implicitly, this industrial policy could severely impact Moroccan industries (automotive, aeronautics, etc.) in the kingdom. This, insofar as Morocco is a major partner of France and is home to several French factories.
