France Imposes Mandatory COVID Tests for Non-EU Arrivals at Airports

France is imposing new measures on Moroccan travelers and other nationalities except European citizens arriving at its airports. These measures, which will come into effect from November 7, include the mandatory screening test.
"From November 7, we will implement a mandatory screening test for passengers arriving from all countries in the world, with the exception of European countries," said Barbara Pompili, Minister of Ecological Transition, during a press conference.
"Travelers will be tested upon arrival and will have their results a few tens of minutes later, unless they have a PCR test of less than 72 hours prior to their departure," she specified.
For a few weeks now, France has been facing a resurgence of the coronavirus, which has led to the re-confinement of the country.
