France Honors Three Moroccans with Prestigious Legion of Honor Award

Insignia of the Legion of Honor of the French Republic were presented, Wednesday in Rabat, to three Moroccan personalities.
According to the MAP, it is Omar Aït Salah, head of protocol with the Head of Government for his contribution to the organization of high-level Franco-Moroccan meetings, which have been "key places where the richness and diversity of the exceptional partnership that unites our two countries is expressed," explained the French Ambassador to Morocco, Jean-François Girault.
This is also the case of Chakib Guessous, radiologist and socio-anthropologist, for his commitment to children’s rights and "his concern to move society towards greater cohesion".
The third personality to have been decorated is Khammar Mrabit, Director General of the Moroccan Agency for Nuclear and Radiological Safety and Security, for his action in favor of nuclear security, both within the International Atomic Energy Agency and as Director General of the Moroccan Agency for Nuclear and Radiological Safety and Security.
In January, France had awarded the French National Order of Merit to Abdallah Toughza, a Moroccan gardener at the Residence of the French Embassy since 1987, for his "perfection in the care and cultivation of the garden of the Embassy Residence".
