France Extends Visas and Residence Permits for Moroccan Nationals by Three Months

The visas and residence permits of Moroccans currently in France are extended by three months.
On her Twitter account, the French ambassador to Morocco, Helène Le Gal, confirmed this March 27th the announcement made on March 16th by the Paris police headquarters. The diplomat also adds that the regularization will take place later.
The purpose of this measure is to secure the presence on French and Moroccan territories of foreigners in a regular situation, and to avoid any challenge to the rights conferred on them by the residence document they hold, in particular the right to work and the benefit of social rights.
This measure applies to the long-stay visa, residence permits of any kind, with the exception of special residence permits issued to foreign diplomatic and consular personnel, temporary residence permits, residence certificates, asylum applications and receipts.
Note that this measure is reciprocal and also applies to French people currently in Morocco.
