France Coach Deschamps Offers Support for Injured Morocco Star Harit Ahead of World Cup

The coach of the French national team, Didier Deschamps, spoke about the injury of Moroccan international Amine Harit, while wishing him a speedy recovery.
The Olympique de Marseille midfielder was stretchered off during the match that pitted his team against AS Monaco, as part of the 15th round of Ligue 1. He suffers from "a sprain of the left knee cruciate ligaments," the club announced in a statement published on its website.
Reacting to this blow for the player and for Morocco, the former Marseille player, current coach of the Blues, Didier Deschamps, expressed his support for the Atlas Lion, while wishing him a speedy recovery.
"This contact obviously leads to an injury that is apparently relatively serious for Amine Harit, I wish him a speedy recovery, even if it will take a lot of time, several months," he said.
And he added: "These are contact game actions. When you’re in the sport, there are players who get injured in training and are supposed to be your teammates. Football is a contact sport, it can happen."
