France Charters 40 Flights to Repatriate Citizens from Morocco Amid Coronavirus Crisis

Faced with the latest developments related to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, France has chartered around forty planes to ensure the first phase of the repatriation of its nationals still in Morocco.
The first flights for the repatriation of French nationals stranded in Morocco began their operations on March 15 and are still ongoing. In total, there are around forty flights, according to the announcement made by Jean-Yves Le Drian. Speaking in a tweet on Sunday, the French Minister of Foreign Affairs provided the latest details on the measures taken to facilitate the return of French nationals in Morocco.
"I spoke again with my Moroccan friend and counterpart, Nasser Bourita, this morning, who is showing understanding," said Jean-Yves Le Drian in his tweet.
Following this first batch of flights, the French Secretary of State for Transport also announced additional flights to repatriate the 12,000 French nationals, the majority of whom are tourists.
