France Bans Wahhabist Children’s Book on Islamic Monotheism

By a decree of the French Ministry of the Interior dated July 5, 2019 and published in the Official Journal on Friday, August 23, 2019, the book "Learning Tawhid to Children" has been banned from sale and access to minors in France.
Published by Al-Haramayn, the book "Learning Tawhid to Children" is an adapted French translation of the writings of the founder of Wahhabism, Mohammed Ibn Abd al-Wahhab, reports saphirnews.com.
It is presented on the back cover as a French/Arabic bilingual work. Better, it is a beneficial epistle about what should be taught to the child before teaching him the Quran, so that he becomes a fulfilled person on the basis of the monotheism of original Islam.
But the Ministry of the Interior does not perceive it as such. According to him, it is a work containing statements likely to incite discrimination and hatred towards people who do not practice Wahhabi Islam. As a result, a ministerial decree was issued to denounce the "danger" that the work represents for minors who could acquire or consult it.
Consequently, the decree prohibits offering, giving or selling this publication to minors. It is also strictly forbidden to display it in public view anywhere, in particular outside or inside stores or kiosks, and to advertise for it through posters. Similarly, advertising the manual through brochures, announcements or insertions published in the press, circular letters addressed to potential buyers or radio or television broadcasts is not allowed.
