Former Moroccan Diplomat Bouchaib El Khalfi Dies at 68 in France

Former Moroccan diplomat Bouchaib El Khalfi died last Saturday in Melun, France, after a long illness.
At the age of 68, Bouchaib El Khalfi had a long and rich diplomatic career. He was in turn Consul General of the Kingdom in Villemomble, Barcelona and Orly. Later, after his retirement, the diplomat settled in France with his family and always put his experience at the service of Moroccan associations in the Ile-de-France region.
The news of his death reached La Map through a press release from the Grand Mosque of Evry-Courcouronnes. In the world of associations of Moroccans in the Ile-de-France region, everyone regrets the disappearance of "a great servant of Morocco and Moroccans, wherever he was in charge" and that of "a great man for his modesty, his kindness, his sincerity and his smile that never left his face whatever the situation".
Within the ASC 77 of which the former Moroccan diplomat was the Secretary General, his companions keep the memory "of a faithful friend, always ready to help and to be of service and who even in retirement, never ceased to put his experience at the service of Moroccan associations in the region".
His burial will take place next Friday, in the Muslim section of Melun.
