Former French Presidential Candidate Royale Criticizes Ex-Education Minister Vallaud-Belkacem

The former unsuccessful candidate for the French presidency, Ségolène Royale, has attacked her former friend and spokesperson, Najat Vallaud-Belkacem, in an interview with the newspaper Le Monde. The origin of this quarrel is the distance that the former Minister of Education has taken since her appointment.
Ségolène Royale is not ready to forget this behavior of her former spokesperson and accomplice. According to Gala.fr, the former Minister of Ecology holds a grudge against Najat Vallaud-Belkacem because she did not consult her in her choices while she was in government. "She didn’t even call me to ask for advice. The number of stupid things she did... These are casting errors. They could have been better, we could have spared them mistakes. That’s part of the nonchalance..." she said.
Continuing her attack, she argues that her former collaborator was discreetly dismissed in a system that exceeds her abilities. "She has never run a staff in her life! Najat has too heavy a responsibility compared to her competence. Appointed without any experience at the head of Education, it’s not possible, it’s not serious!"
The former companion of François Hollande also criticized the other ministers who collaborated with the President of the Republic. According to her, they were not managed. "People don’t know how to be ministers," she added.
Since the end of François Hollande’s term, the paths of the two women have separated. While Ségolène has recently been appointed Ambassador of the Poles by President Emmanuel Macron, the Franco-Moroccan, who celebrated her 43rd birthday on October 4, has been the France Director of the NGO ONE since last March. Her organization fights extreme poverty and preventable diseases in Africa.
