Ferry Brings 300 French Travelers Home from Morocco Amid Travel Restrictions

Many French camper-van travelers stuck in Morocco were able to return to France on Saturday, March 4, via a ferry that docked at the port of Sète.
TF1 reports that more than 200 vehicles were able to disembark with 600 travelers, half of whom were French. They were transported by a new ferry. This is the second ferry repatriating French people from Morocco. Stuck in the kingdom for days, they were forced to pay between 1,000 and 2,000 euros to reach France. Upon arrival, they will have to undergo a health check due to the coronavirus that continues to rage in the world.
According to the Quai d’Orsay, 3,000 to 4,000 French people are still stranded abroad, particularly in Beijing, Peru... President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, has also announced that new repatriation operations will be organized in the coming days.
