Father Confesses to Killing Three Daughters in Alfortville, France

In Dieppe (Seine-Maritime), a 41-year-old man of Moroccan origin turned himself in to the police on Sunday. He claims to be the murderer of his three daughters.
A man accuses himself of the murder of his three daughters whose bodies were found in Alfortville (Val-de-Marne), at his home. In a press release, the Créteil prosecutor’s office specifies that the police found "the lifeless bodies of three girls aged 4, 10 and 11 years old" on the spot. A magistrate from the Créteil prosecutor’s office went to the crime scene, reports franceinfo. This crime is the subject of a flagrante delicto investigation for murder entrusted to the judicial police of Val-de-Marne. This Monday, the public prosecutor of Créteil Stéphane Hardouin will hold a press conference to specify the progress of the investigation.
After his confessions, this 41-year-old man, known to the justice system for a conviction in April 2021 "for acts of domestic violence, in the presence of a minor" and "domestic violence with the use of a weapon (stick)" according to the prosecutor’s office, was placed in police custody in Dieppe. He had received an 18-month prison sentence, 12 of which were suspended. A sentence he had served "in the form of home detention under electronic surveillance". According to the public prosecutor, he was also the subject "of an investigation for rape by spouse", dismissed without further action on July 5, 2021 due to an "insufficiently characterized offense".
