Fatal Shooting at Brussels Bistro Leaves Young Moroccan Man Dead, Suspect Arrested

In Brussels, a new shooting has cost the life of a young Moroccan. A suspect has been arrested and an investigation is underway to solve this crime.
New shooting in Brussels. On Thursday around 10 pm, a shooting that occurred in the bistro Chez Ova, Rue de l’Église Sainte-Anne, very close to the town hall of Koekelberg, resulted in one death, reports Bruzz. Information confirmed by the Bruxelles-Ouest police zone. Residents heard several gunshots and alerted the police. Upon arrival, the emergency services tried to resuscitate the victim on the spot. Without success. Soufiane, a thirty-year-old of Moroccan origin and a regular of the neighborhood according to the neighbors, would have received a bullet in the neck of the victim, and succumbed to his injuries. "During the night, a suspect was arrested in another municipality," explained Martijn Baes, spokesperson for the West police zone.
Why was the Moroccan expatriate riddled with bullets? "He was always calm when he came to have his coffee during the day, after the evening I don’t know what he was doing," testifies anonymously the manager of another establishment in the neighborhood. The victim was also a regular at the Chez Ova café where he would have caused problems to the manager on several occasions, reports HLN. Will the café manager be the shooter? This is what an ongoing investigation will have to determine.
