Far-Right Mayor Cancels Muslim DJ’s Performance at Orange Pork Festival

The animation commissioned by Orange for the Java du Cochon for June 3 and 4 will no longer take place. And for good reason, the mayor of the city of the far-right majority has canceled the musical charcuterie of DJ Halouf, a Frenchman of Arab origin and Muslim faith.
"The musical charcuterie" is not welcome in Orange. After discovering that Omar aka DJ Halouf, a socio-cultural animator by training, a Frenchman of Arab origin and Muslim faith, is the one who will be hosting "the musical charcuterie", invited by the City for the Java du Cochon, on June 3 and 4 next, right in the heart of the Princes’ city, he decided to cancel the event, reports La Provence. "It’s an accessory event that we’re canceling, it doesn’t go at all with the spirit of the event; I was expecting a simple blind test and not necessarily something oriented," the mayor explained during "the press conference, where he was simply supposed to present the details of the Java du Cochon."
The concept of "La Charcuterie musicale" is a crazy blind test imagined with the pig as a mascot. In a caravan, DJ Halouf sausages songs. He only consumes charcuterie made from meats other than pork.
