The Paris Criminal Court sentenced, this Tuesday, October 12, Logan Nisin, leader of the far-right group Organization of Social Armies (OAS) to nine years in prison for terrorist attack projects targeting mosques and politicians.
In addition to Logan Nisin, five other defendants were also convicted. They received sentences ranging from five to eight years in prison. Thomas Annequin, the number 2 of the OAS group, was sentenced to eight years in prison. All the defendants were planning terrorist attack projects targeting mosques and politicians such as Christophe Castaner and Jean-Luc Mélenchon.
All were found guilty of "terrorist criminal association". "The court intends to recall the extreme gravity of the alleged facts. All the elements attest to the imminence of the act. All the defendants have collectively participated and represented the OAS," specified the president.
Logan Nisin had been arrested in June 2017 in Vitrolles, in the Bouches-du-Rhône region, then indicted in July 2017 for criminal association in connection with a terrorist enterprise.
