Eurowings Expands to Morocco: New Stuttgart-Marrakech Route Launches in December

The low-cost airline Eurowings is preparing to launch the Stuttgart-Marrakech air route. A new line that is part of its winter program.
A fourth route for Eurowings to Marrakech. The low-cost subsidiary of the Lufthansa group plans to operate a weekly flight between its base in Stuttgart and Marrakech-Menara airport, starting December 5, reports Air Journal. An Airbus A319 with 144 or 150 seats will be used. According to the schedule, the departures are scheduled for Sundays at 6:50 a.m. and the arrival time of the aircraft is set at 9:50 a.m. The return flights will leave Morocco at 10:45 a.m. The plane will land at 2:35 p.m.
Eurowings’ next seasonal flights to Marrakech from Düsseldorf and Hamburg will be operated in November. Other Moroccan destinations on the low-cost carrier’s agenda: Agadir, Casablanca, Nador and Tangier. The company’s flight program is "in the context of a new facilitation of travel, as the pandemic situation in Europe is easing considerably. This not only makes vacation travel possible again, but many people living in Germany can finally visit their foreign country again," Eurowings said.
