European Couple Converts to Islam During Eid Celebration in Morocco

The faithful present, on August 12, 2019, during the Eid al-Adha prayer, experienced an emotional moment, in the Msalla of the city of Salé. Two European nationals, a Briton and a French woman, finalized their conversion to Islam.
The Briton had bonded with a young Moroccan woman and decided to join the Islamic religion, in order to be able to celebrate his marriage. The law prohibits Moroccan women from marrying non-Muslims, writes the site Kifach.
In addition, the young French woman justified her act by the fact that her mother, who is Muslim, had encouraged her to convert to Islam. She specified that it is a purely personal conviction.
The ceremony was marked by the large presence of the faithful who expressed their joy, after the pronouncement of the two testimonies of Islam by the two Europeans, shouting "Allah Akbar".
