Essonne: The daughter of the Moroccan vice-consul victim of a violent robbery
A student, identified as the daughter of the Moroccan vice-consul, was the target of a violent robbery on public transportation in the Île-de-France region. The young woman officially filed a complaint this Wednesday morning with the police, following the assault that occurred on board a RER D train.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of November 11, 2025, while the train was stopped at the Ris-Orangis station in Essonne, reports Le Parisien. The Moroccan woman was on board when she was spotted by three individuals who stared at her insistently.
The situation quickly escalated when one of the men approached her in an attempt to tear off her necklace, managing to steal the pendant.
Although shaken, the student did not sustain any physical injuries during this incident. The three suspects managed to leave the scene and flee before the train could depart again.
