Elon Musk’s Dubai Loop: Revolutionary Underground Network to Transform City’s Transit

American billionaire Elon Musk has presented the "Dubai Loop", his project to build an innovative underground transportation network aimed at transforming mobility in Dubai. A project that strangely resembles the tunnel between Morocco and Spain under the strait.
TEXTE:
The project will be developed by his company "The Boring Company" and will help reduce traffic jams in Dubai and offer an eco-friendly and efficient alternative to traditional transportation in one of the world’s most innovative cities. The "Dubai Loop" will consist of the construction of a network of tunnels connecting the city’s main neighborhoods through 100 transportation stations.
The tunnel will extend 17 kilometers in its first phase and will be exclusively reserved for autonomous electric cars called "Tesla Pods". These vehicles will be able to travel at a speed of 160 km/h and transport up to 20,000 people per hour. The project focuses on sustainability and safety. With the Dubai Loop, users will be sheltered from the weather and sandstorms, frequent phenomena in the region. Advanced ventilation and fire protection systems will be installed in these tunnels to ensure the safety of users.
For Elon Musk, this project aims to facilitate travel in the city of Dubai and improve the quality of urban life. The Dubai Loop will be carried out in collaboration with the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The start date of the work has not yet been announced.
