Eid Al-Adha 2023: France Anticipates June 27 or 28 Celebration Date

Eid Al-Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice is celebrated on the tenth day of Dhul-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic calendar. On what date will it be celebrated this year 1444/2023 in France and around the world?
Eid Al-Adha is one of the major Muslim festivals. It is usually held in the middle of the Hajj period, the great pilgrimage to Mecca, precisely the day after the gathering of pilgrims on Mount Arafat.
This year 1444/2023, the great pilgrimage should take place from June 26 to July 1, 2023, subject to confirmation by the Saudi authorities on June 17, which is the 28th day of the month of Dhul-Qida. Dhul-Hijjah could start on June 18 or 19, and the date of Eid Al-Adha set for Tuesday, June 27 or Wednesday, June 28, reports Saphir News.
If Saudi Arabia announces the start of Dhul-Hijjah on June 19, Eid al-Adha should be celebrated on Wednesday, June 28 in most Muslim countries. However, the conclusions of the visual observations of the new crescent moon will have to be taken into account. For supporters of advance calculations like Turkey, Eid al-Adha 1444/2023 will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 28.
