EasyJet Resumes Flights to Marrakech from Six French Airports as Morocco Reopens Airspace

The low-cost airline EasyJet has resumed its air links to Morocco from France on June 15, the date marking the reopening of Moroccan airspace. The airline has taken a series of measures to facilitate travel for its customers.
EasyJet relaunched its flights to Morocco on June 15, 2021 to meet "the demand of the French for long-awaited vacations." In a press release, the British low-cost specialist states that it will serve Marrakech-Menara from the airports of Paris-CDG, Bordeaux-Mérignac, Lyon-Saint Exupéry, Nantes-Atlantique, Nice-Côte d’Azur and Toulouse-Blagnac, with several frequencies per week. After the Nice-Marrakech flights on June 15 and Paris-CDG-Marrakech on June 16, the low-cost carrier will operate the Lyon-Marrakech, Nantes-Marrakech and Toulouse-Marrakech flights on June 19, then Bordeaux-Marrakech on July 5.
"After a particular year, the French want to travel to reconnect with their families, spend a few days with friends or discover new destinations. From Paris and the French regions, Morocco remains a very popular destination for our passengers," says Reginald Otten, Deputy Managing Director of EasyJet for France.
The airline intends to strengthen its flexibility guarantee as part of the resumption of its flights. It gives its customers the possibility to modify their ticket free of charge up to 2 hours before departure. An offer that applies to all flights, without conditions of dates or destinations. The British low-cost specialist offers one-way tickets without baggage for 35 euros including tax. It has also launched the Covid-19 information portal and invites its customers to regularly check the travel and entry conditions for their destination of arrival and return.
