Dubai Drug Lord’s Empire Crumbles: 15 Tons of Cocaine and Luxury Lifestyle Exposed

Drug trafficker Youssef "Benz" Ben Azza, 37, faces a heavy prison sentence. With his well-structured criminal organization, he imported and marketed more than fifteen tons of cocaine through the port of Antwerp in 2020.
At the beginning of his indictment, the prosecutor specifies that this is one of the most impressive cases resulting from the hacking of Sky ECC. "With a strong Netflix potential. This case revolves around the main defendant Youssef Ben Azza alias Benz, Monte Christo or Elite Turbo. The press sometimes describes him as the financial right-hand man of Othman El Ballouti, but I want to correct this image. Youssef Ben Azza has managed to build a well-organized criminal organization that imported tons of cocaine. He ran his organization from the United Arab Emirates and remained under the radar of the police for years," says the prosecutor.
The prosecutor specified that the Ben Azza organization was earning millions per month. The photos found in the intercepted Sky ECC messages are evidence of this. "These photos show staggering amounts of money from so-called ’money drops’ of several million euros each time. Ben Azza is much more than a financier or ’the right-hand man of someone’, he is someone who knew how to fend for himself. In a short time, he has become a drug lord who can be considered as belonging to the absolute elite of the cocaine trade," it is specified.
According to the prosecutor, Ben Azza could count on a network of trusted people, including several brothers and brothers-in-law. According to the prosecution, the division of tasks was very clear: the big boss took care of organizing the drug shipments. With his contacts in South America, he also coordinated activities in Antwerp. Some of his henchmen were in charge of the extractors and warehouses in Beveren and Brecht, while others were in charge of a network of storage locations where cocaine stocks were safely hidden. Ben Azza’s organization is being prosecuted in this "Netflix case" for six successful drug shipments in 2020. At first, it was carrying out relatively modest extractions of 650 and 250 kg, before quickly shifting into high gear: shipments of 2,500 kg, 1,000 kg and 1,697 kg, then a shipment of 10,000 kg, via quay 869 in Antwerp. The traffic generated around 500 million euros.
The prosecutor reveals the modus operandi of the Monte Christo family: "The family had a kind of meeting in Dubai, on a large yacht, with staff to serve them. In one of the photos, we also see Ben Azza’s mother posing in a Ferrari." And to detail: "Once, the group almost failed. After a successful extraction, several couriers from the group are waiting and attacked by Moroccan-Dutch people. The latter strip them of seventeen blocks of cocaine. The big boss orders his soldiers to arm themselves, so that they can defend themselves in the future. The group also takes a new apartment on the Eilandje. Two members of the group remain on site to guard the cocaine."
