Customs Seize 60 Kilos of Cannabis Hidden in Moroccan Furniture at Sète Port

Some sixty kilos of cannabis resin were seized by French customs on a boat in Sète coming from Tangier. The drugs were hidden in Moroccan armchairs (Sdari).
According to the local newspaper actu.fr, it was during a check carried out last Thursday by customs officers on a car ferry at the port of Sète that sixty kilos of cannabis were seized "inside Moroccan armchairs".
The customs officers had decided to carry out an operation on this boat coming from Tangier and the harvest was good. "Soap-shaped hashish in quite large quantities that left no doubt about the existence of a traffic was hidden under furniture, a cargo that did not escape the flair of the Sète customs officers," writes the publication.
