Coronavirus Case at Marrakech Royal Residence Prompts Staff Quarantine

Employees of the royal residence in Marrakech have been placed in quarantine for 14 days, following the contraction of the coronavirus by a member of the staff.
The information, communicated by the daily Assabah, specifies that the person confirmed positive for the past 48 hours, originally from Ksiba in the Beni Mellal region, has been hospitalized at the military hospital in the city.
The victim’s family, who still do not know how they were infected, as well as their professional entourage, have all been placed in confinement, while awaiting the results of the screening test.
In the meantime, the staff have been denied access to the residence, which has been the subject of a major disinfection operation before being placed under very close surveillance.
