Comedian Brahim Bouhlel Debuts New Look After Release from Moroccan Prison

The Franco-Algerian Brahim Bouhlel, sentenced on April 21 to eight months in prison and incarcerated in the local prison of Oudaya in Marrakech, for "his bad joke", then released last December, appears on social networks. The comedian has changed his look.
A few weeks after his release from a Moroccan prison and his return to France, Brahim Bouhlel made his first post on social media. In a simple photo posted on Instagram, we discover him with a thicker mustache and longer hair than before, smoking a cigarette. A post without any caption or message. The new look of the star of Validé is justified by the fact that he participated for his return in the last episode of the web series "Sous écrous" with Ichem Boogy and Arriles Amrani.
Incarcerated in the local prison of Oudaya in Marrakech, the comedian Brahim Bouhlel was released from prison last December. He had made a "bad joke" about Moroccan women and children. It all started with a controversial video filmed in April in a restaurant in Marrakech, where the Validé star, the Franco-Algerian actor Hedi Bouchenafa and the Franco-Moroccan snapchatter Zbarbooking were in the company of three Moroccan minors. The video, which went viral on social media, caused an uproar. The accused had apologized, explaining that it was a "parody" video.
Placed in pre-trial detention the next day, Brahim Bouhlel and the influencer Sammy Tami had been sentenced on April 21 to eight months and one year in prison respectively. This decision was confirmed on appeal on May 31. Hedi Bouchenafa had in the meantime left Moroccan territory before the opening of the investigation. Brahim Bouhlel’s appeals and requests for royal pardon proved unsuccessful. The 26-year-old comedian had to serve his sentence.
