Cholet Mosque and Association Serve Couscous to Frontline Workers Battling COVID-19

Couscous rations were distributed on Friday, April 17, to workers in professions exposed in the fight against coronavirus. This solidarity initiative is a joint initiative of the Arrahma mosque and the association Le palmier in Cholet.
These are firefighters, police officers, maintenance workers, caregivers, doctors, ambulance drivers, and cashiers. This distribution was done in strict compliance with barrier gestures. To benefit from this outpouring of solidarity, you just need to present your professional card or any supporting document, reports ouest-france.fr.
It is "more than 200 meals, all prepared by a volunteer," explains Chaïma Khachani, secretary of the association Le palmier, chaired by Tarik Hajjaj. "We want to provide support, say thank you to the medical staff, to all those who keep the country running," says Chaïma Khachani.
