Central Bank of Morocco Warns of Fraudulent Prize Notification Scam

Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM) has issued an alert against a fraudulent notification targeting certain customers who are being asked to collect a prize in the form of a check from its branches.
"A notification via browsers has been sent to the smartphones of certain citizens inviting them to go to its branches to collect a prize in the form of a check," the central bank said in a notice published on its website.
Bank Al-Maghrib assures that it is in no way the sender of this notification and disclaims any responsibility for its content.
