CDC Maintains Morocco’s Low COVID-19 Risk Status for US Travelers

The federal agency Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has kept Morocco on its list of countries with a "low level of coronavirus contamination," after updating its recommendations on international travel.
In addition to Morocco and the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Sudan, Oman, Djibouti, Sudan, Rwanda, Benin, Senegal, India, and China are on the list of 43 states and territories that offer guarantees to be safe destinations in these times of Covid-19, according to the US federal agency. However, the CDC health authorities recommend that all American citizens be fully vaccinated before traveling to these destinations.
The American agency has also kept Algeria on the list of 40 states and territories where the current epidemiological situation is unknown and advises Americans not to go there. These states and territories include Afghanistan, Sudan, Tajikistan, Monaco, Syria and Yemen.
