Cannabis Found Hidden in Restaurant’s Tajine Dishes, French Police Investigate

To his great surprise, a restaurateur in Suresnes (Hauts-de-Seine) discovered, last Thursday, nearly 2 kg of cannabis resin hidden in terracotta tajine dishes "that he had just bought." Immediately, he went to the Suresnes police station.
The restaurateur was "surprised when he put his new tajine dishes in the oven and they started to swell: a cannabis brick was hidden inside nine of his dishes," reports the Paris Police Prefecture.
In total, the manager of the restaurant L’Ourika in Suresnes found nearly 2 kg of resin hidden in nine dishes, wrapped in cellophane.
Arriving at the Suresnes police station with all the incriminating dishes, the restaurateur explained to the police "that he had just bought these dishes."
For now, an investigation is underway to determine the origin of the drug.
